Boston TRACON (A90) – Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 12:02 p.m. EDT: (Jazz) JZA7680/CRJ2 was at 3,500 feet, two miles northeast of Norwood (OWD) Airport, on a left base for a Visual Approach to Runway 4L at Boston Logan (BOS) Airport. The pilot reported that a black and red UAS passed approximately 75 feet from the aircraft at 3,500 feet, stating that the UAS was “very close”. The pilot did not make any evasive maneuvers.
