Summary: The controller noticed a light blinking on top of a nearby hanger, and reported it to the airport fire department. The fire department notified the airport manager, who suggested that it was probably a drone and it would be recovered Monday (August 10) morning when men and equipment would be available. The item was a drone made by World Tech Toys, Interceptor 2.4GHz, Model 34865, sold in this area by Sam’s Club. It is in the custody of the airport manager who will hold it for evidence as necessary. Dothan Tower was directed by the ROC to complete this informational MOR, mark it as a sigificant event, and be sure to notify the DEN.
